NDEC Showcase - Industry

I would be delighted if you could join us for the NDEC Showcase Event Industry Day which will be taking place on February 25th in Ebbw Vale.

This event represents the opening of the initial National Digital Exploitation Centre capability, following the announcement made in January 2019.

The day will provide an opportunity for you to view and understand more about the unique and innovative cyber security capability that is currently being developed in Ebbw Vale. In addition, progress to date and insights into the future vision of the NDEC will be provided. The Marketplace will play host to a number of key industry partners, SME’s and suppliers on the day.

Arrival time 9:30am for 10am start

Address for GPS: Mill Lane, Ebbw Vale, NP23 6GR

Parking on the day will be limited, so we advise attendees to use public transport where possible. If not, there is a large, free-of-charge multi-story car park opposite Ebbw Vale Sports Centre on Lime Avenue, NP23 6GL. This is a short walk from the NDEC building on Mill Lane, NP23 6GR.

By Rail - Ebbw Vale Town is the closest train station (0.6 mile).

Trains run hourly from Cardiff at 35 minutes past the hour (usually Platform 1 or Platform 0) and arrive in Ebbw Vale just after half past the hour. The train passes through Pye Corner, Rogerstone, Risca, Crosskeys, Newbridge, Llanhilleth and Ebbw Vale Parkway before Ebbw Vale Town.

From the Station walk towards the building with the clock on it (not towards the car park). Turn left towards Coleg Gwent, turn left onto Lime Avenue. Pass the school, leisure centre and playing fields on the left. Keep going past the rugby pitch and turn right onto Mill Lane, we are on the right.

From M4 East (Newport)- At M4 J25 turn right onto A4042 for 7.5 miles towards Cwmbran. At Pontypool bear left onto A472 for 5.5 miles towards Crumlin. At Crumlin turn right onto A467 for 3 miles towards Brynmawr. At roundabout turn left onto A4046 for 6 miles towards Ebbw Vale (via Cwm). Passing a few rows of houses you will see The Ambala guest house on the right, continue following the main road, when you reach the roundabout take the 2nd exit. You will pass a garage on your left hand side at the first junction turn right and then take the first left turn. Pass Aneurin Bevan Hospital on your left, take the first turn on the left onto Mill Lane and the office is on your right.

From M4 West (Cardiff) - At M4 J28 turn left onto A4072 for 0.6 miles towards Bassaleg. Turn right onto A467 at Bassaleg for 12.6 miles towards Brynmawr. At roundabout turn left onto A4046 for 6 miles towards Ebbw Vale (via Cwm).You will pass a few rows of houses and will see The Ambala guest house on the right, continue following the main road, when you reach the roundabout take the 2nd exit. Passing a garage on your left at the first junction turn right and then take the first left. Passing Anuerin Bevan Hospital on your left, take the first turn left onto Mill Lane and the office is on your right.
