Using Fire in Forest Kindergarten- Glasgow

Course information

Kate Hookham will equip participants with the knowledge and skills to use fire appropriately and safely in Forest Kindergarten and Early Years settings. The course will follow OWL Scotland’s Fire guidance. The course is aimed at early years practitioners who have undertaken Forest Kindergarten training.

What to bring

- Appropriate clothing (waterproofs- jacket and trousers, layers of clothing (merino wool recommended), warm footwear & socks. Gloves and a hat would also be useful. A packed lunch and something to drink (a flask with a hot drink is also recommended).
