AKVA group Land Based business area is investing heavily in the development of sustainable solutions in land-based farming and is now in a process where they are strengthening their capacity.
The Director will have the overall responsibility for the supply chain management within the Land Based Business Area. We are looking for a candidate with commercial awareness, a strategic mindset and sound knowledge of the whole supply chain. You can work on both a strategic and operational level, have excellent collaboration skills and are able to build strong relations across the SCM domain. The position reports to COO Land Based.

Main tasks:
- Overall responsibility for the supply chain strategy within the Land Based Business Area with specific focus on sourcing and purchasing
- Coordinate and run processes/discussions to understand supplier’s capacity, possibilities to grow and secure our capacity and priority in their deliveries
- Identify where we need new suppliers, implement supplier development and qualification of products/solutions from new suppliers
- Identify and implement improvements throughout the supply chain, including improving contractual framework and specifications
- Establish and report on KPI’s
- Negotiation of commercial terms and conditions with subcontractors and key suppliers
- Focus on bottom-line results, realize synergies, and identify potential risks and establish quality assurance processes in the supply chain, including taxonomy and sustainability
- Ability to be a contributor in rolling out new ERP solution
Education and experience:
- Higher relevant education, preferably on a master’s degree level
- Solid experience from supply chain management
- Sound negotiation skills
- Experience from establishing and developing supply chain organizations
- Experience from implementation of ERP solutions is advantageous
- Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken
Location is Kverneland Industripark, Klepp stasjon. Travel must be expected.
