Galliford Try has once again taken a top spot in TheJobCrowd’s leaderboard for the best companies for graduates and apprentices to work for.

The Group appeared second in a list of 100 for apprentices and graduates to work for across the industry and was recognised as a ‘Top Graduate & Apprentice Employer’.

Described as ‘TripAdvisor for jobs’, TheJobCrowd additionally ranked Galliford Try 17th out of 100 graduate employers UK-wide and 22nd out of 100 apprentice employers, having reviewed a total of 600 companies.

The listings are based on employee feedback across areas including culture, training, progression opportunities, environmental awareness, salaries and working hours.

Vikki Skene, HR Director and Executive Board member for Galliford Try, said: “We pride ourselves on being a values-driven, people-orientated organisation, so we are absolutely delighted to have taken a top spot in TheJobCrowd’s league table for best companies for graduates and apprentices for the fifth year running. The fact we consistently appear so highly within the list confirms our position as a destination employer, not only within the industry but across the UK.”

In November, Galliford Try’s commitment to early careers ‘earn and learn’ schemes was recognised with a Gold Award through The 5% Club’s 2021 Employer Audit Scheme, which covered future plans and commitments and examined the Group’s approaches to quality, social mobility, diversity and inclusion.
