The winners of Global Custodian’s annual Leaders in Custody awards were announced during the premiere of an industry-first documentary on the securities services industry.
The awards honour the best performers from our Agent Banks in Major and Emerging Markets surveys from 2019, in addition to a range of Editors’ Choice awards covering Asset Servicing Deal of the Year, Best New Asset Servicing Project, Best New Asset Servicing Partnership, and Best Innovation in Market Infrastructure.
The big winners of this year’s honours were BNP Paribas Securities Services and SIX, The Swiss Stock Exchange, who both took three awards each.
Meanwhile picking up two accolades each were Deutsche Bank, Standard Chartered, Societe Generale Securities Services, Mizuho Bank and BNY Mellon.
In the individual awards, Hani Kablawi became the latest inductee into Global Custodian’s Hall of Fame, while Bogart Miheaye of BNP Paribas Securities Services took home the inaugural Network Manager of the Year award, as voted for by his peers.
