I watched as a group of surfers made their way out of the water.
The black, wetsuited bodies waded in the shallow tide, surfboards under their arms. They walked along the sand below the parking area, heading towards the rocks between the sand and the grassy picnic area.

| Sweet, hot, small town goodness with a growly doctor and a poor office worker. I love these guys so much. Birkie is at her best when she writes hurt-comfort but set in a quirky town. So much fun. | |

| Pretty sure Cam ranks with Jonty Bloom as my favorite fictional character I want to hang out with irl. He may be my entire personality rn. I loved this so much. (I read all four of the books in the series in a day and am glad I stuck around for Cam.) | |
