Hi Susan,
So happy you asked this! I've wanted to revisit these characters for years and am actually working on the outline for a sequel that would allow the next generation of all three books to interract with each other! One of these books may soon be on TV and that would be a wonderful way to introduce the next story, wouldn't it?
Certain characters remain in a writer's heart forever, and I would so welcome the chance to follow where their lives can lead.

I have an outline for a sequel that's full of surprises, including the appearance of characters from So Many Partings and An Excess of Love. I fell in love with the characters in my historic novels as I wrote about them and have always wanted to follow their stories into the next generation.
Paint the Wind is being considered for a TV Series right now...if that deal goes through, the sequel to Paint the Wind will be my next book after finishing Book 2 of Lark's Labyrinth.(less)

What Led Me To Jane Street?

As many of you know, I never wanted to do anything in life but to write books, from the time I could hold one, never mind read it. My childhood home had books on every horizontal surface and plenty of vertical ones, as bookshelves abounded. “Some say they get lost in books, but I find myself, again and again, in the pages of a good book. Humanly speaking, there is no greater teacher, no greater therapist, no greater healer of the soul, than a well-stocked library.”
L.R.Knost

“Books on the bookshelves
And stacked on the floor
Books kept in baskets
And propped by the door
Books in neat piles
And in disarray
Books tucked in closets
And books on display
Books filling crannies
And books packed in nooks
Books massed in windows
And mounded in crooks
Libraries beckon
And bookstores invite
But book-filled rooms welcome
Us back home at night!”
