I always feel so drawn into Vannetta Chapman's books when I read them. I sure enjoyed this book. Noah Graber is certainly not looking for any romantic entanglements, with past failed romances he's satisfied just working hard and being a confirmed bachelor. Olivia Mae Miller is the matchmaker of the community but she herself doesn't have a beau.
I was very impressed with Olivia's maturity as she lives with and takes care of her grandparents especially her grandfather who is suffering from Alzheimer's. Terribly sad to see anyone go through this disease, it's a monster. My grandmother had it.
The author respectfully portrayed it and it's actions.
Noah is a fun character to read about. I enjoyed reading about Olivia and Noah's romance, it just kind of snuck up on them. That Noah, his sense of humor and his sheep jokes, oh my. I guess you could say he's baaarific!
I love how authentic this book felt, this situation could definitely happen.
This is part of the Indiana Amish Brides series, #3 actually but it reads well as a stand alone.

A Perfect Amish Match was such an enjoyable read. There were some serious topics covered, including caring for someone suffering from Altzheimer’s symptoms. The love that Olivia Mae showed for her grandparents spoke highly of her character and endeared her to me.

There were plenty of humorous moments in this novel, as well. That Noah! From his corny sheep jokes to the two dating disasters in the story, he had me cringing at times! But, it was oh so funny to read about!

And, finally, the romance between Olivia Mae and Noah was just right. It felt very natural and plausible. I liked this story from start to finish and even though it is book three in a series, it can be read as a stand alone novel.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Be prepared, because I’m going to gush over this book. I’ve read lots and lots of Amish fiction, but this is truly one of the sweetest Amish stories I’ve ever read.

I fell completely in love with the characters of Olivia Mae and Noah. Olivia is sweet, caring, and self-sacrificing. She’s given up her own dreams to care for her aging grandparents, but she has done it with grace and love. Even though she’s young, these same characteristics make her a very successful matchmaker. Noah is a good-hearted, hard-working young man who is an introvert and just does not know how to act or talk on a date.

This story becomes quite charming when Olivia the matchmaker decides to give Noah lessons on how to act while on a date. I laughed at all of Noah’s corny jokes and how clueless he was about what young Amish women expected on a date. As the relationship deepens between Olivia and Noah, some serious decisions have to be made concerning the care of her grandparents. The question becomes how self-sacrificing should they be with their own hopes as they seek to do the right thing for all concerned.

There’s both laughter and tears in this story, which makes it the best kind of book to read. If you love Amish fiction, you will fall in love with Olivia and Noah, too.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This was a short and very pleasant read that besides handling the typical Amish romantic problems, also handles a serious issue. Alzheimer's.

There was not a lot of 'preaching' perhaps a tad more than I'm comfortable with, but that and the serious side-story aside, I love this book and I generally love this author.

A Perfect Amish Match is an appealing Amish novel. Vannetta Chapman created likeable and relatable characters that I wanted to know more about (they become friends). Olivia Mae Miller takes care of her two ailing grandparents. It has become harder as her grandfather’s memory becomes worse. He is frail and needs supervision. Olivia Mae is a sweet, kind, thoughtful woman who has been successful at matching local couples. She has a good success rate which is why Noah’s family believes Olivia Mae can help Noah. Noah enjoys being an auctioneer and a bachelor. He is not interested in settling down and his past dates of been unsuccessful. The only way to get his well-meaning mother off his back, though, is to agree to let Olivia Mae set him up with three different women. This is when the fun begins. Noah is an absolute disaster on dates. Noah has a lot going for him with his good heart and a solid work ethic. But Noah is absolutely clueless about women and dating. Noah’s calamitous dates had me laughing out loud. Olivia takes him under her wing to show him how to properly court an Amish woman. Noah and Olivia Mae get to know each other. Olivia Mae even finds she likes Noah’s corny animal jokes. Unfortunately, the road to happiness is never smooth, but full of stones and potholes. There comes a time when heart wrenching choices will have to made. I thought A Perfect Amish Match was well-written with steady pacing. It is such a charming story that will have you chuckling and teary. A Perfect Amish Match can be read as a standalone if you have not picked up the other novels in the Indiana Amish Brides series. Christian elements (prayer, faith and God’s blessings for example) are beautifully integrated into the story (enhance the book). Important life lessons are learned by our characters. God has a hope and plan for each of us and He only wants the best for us. My favorite phrase is “some people are older when they fall in love and maybe that’s because it takes a while for them to know their hearts”. Vannetta Chapman never fails to provide a story that will touch our hearts. A Perfect Amish Match is a touching tale that will live with you long after you close the book.

I have not read the prior novels in this series. Yet, this book can be read as a stand alone novel. It has been a long time since I have read a book from this line of books. Yet, I was drawn to this book because of the Amish theme. I am a sucker for a good Amish book. I did not get just a "good" book but a "great" book.

Where Olivia and Noah were concerned; I loved them both. Olivia had some spunk to her. Yet, she was not the only nice surprise. Noah had a good sense of humor to him. He had tons of jokes. Although, the jokes were more on the corny side. You know you have found true love when someone will laugh at your "corny" jokes. That is exactly what happened with Olivia. She even tried sharing some of Noah's jokes with her friends and they did not find them funny as Olivia did.

Olivia and Noah made such a sweet couple. They were good together. I loved when Noah's mother told him that he was a "man" when he found himself putting Olivia first. I found my "perfect" read with A Perfect Amish Match.

This is a heartwarming, sweet, Amish romance - a delightful story to escape into with brilliant characters and the sort of story where you believe it could actually happen - leaving you with a big smile on your face.

Isn't it great when someone not looking for love actually finds it? In this story both Noah Graber and Olivia Mae Miller aren't really looking for love for themselves. Noah has had several relationship disasters and is only agreeing to meet the matchmaker to appease his parents. However, the matchmaker is Oliva Mae and he really likes her. He convinces her to give him courting lessons and she arranges dates for him to try to apply what he's learnt but what happens when the only person he really wants to date is her?

The story deals with some difficult issues. Olivia Mae is caring for her grandparents and her grandfather has Alzheimer’s. I was impressed by how sensitively the author shared the effects of this terrible condition on the patient and their family, including the possible impact of it on the potential romance between Olivia Mae and Noah. This is a story packed with humour, love, turmoil and 'baaad' sheep jokes! It is a lovely story to escape into and, even though it is the third in a series, it works well as a standalone. I have no hesitation in highly recommending it!

I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

A Perfect Amish Match is a delightful story of an Amish woman who is known to be a matchmaker for others in her community. While attempting to set Noah Graber up with one of her friends, a slow and unexpected friendship buds between him and Olivia Mae. As I read this book, I could feel the anticipation within me growing as I wondered and waited to see if they would acknowledge their feelings and fall in love. I love the community of the Amish and I love how Olivia Mae cares so deeply for her grandparents. I highly recommend this book. It is a delightful read that helped me recapture some of the sweet feelings of early love.

Vannetta Chapman never fails to draw readers into her stories. A Perfect Amish Match brought matchmaker Olivia Mae Miller story to life. She dedicated her life to caring for her aging grandparents that resulted in some sad situations but Olivia was determined to fulfill her obligation despite her brothers’ request to move to Maine. She was the matchmaker in Goshen but the dates she arranged for Noah Graber proved disastrous for her friends. Noah’s presence at the Miller’s home during a storm brought a new dimension to Noah’s behavior by stepping in to assist with repairs. I loved this story with the older hero and heroine along with Rachel and Abe, the grandparents. There were moments of sadness to happiness along with smiles, tears and laughter. Vannetta Chapman never fails to disappoint in a touching story with characters that are friends after closing the book and wondering how they are doing in days ahead.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review but have expressed my sincere thoughts. I look forward to reading more books by Chapman as they are released.

Noah Graber is a content bachelor, but he grudging agrees to go on three dates set up by Amish matchmaker Olivia Mae. But as the dates continue to go disastrously, he begins to wonder if he's been overlooking his best match.

Olivia Mae is devoted to her grandparents who are starting to have trouble with their memory. She is a strong, responsible young woman and sometimes she struggles to ask others for help. I love how she helped others, and cares so much about the ones that she loves.

This story had such a fun premise, and great interaction between that characters. It was a delightful read from beginning to end, and I loved how Noah takes the time to spend time with Olivia Mae's grandparents. This book has such a fun unique spin on the Amish romance, and it felt fun and fresh.

Overall a charming romance, with great faith and touches of humor that brought a smile to my face. An entertaining and enjoyable read.

I am a huge fan of Vanetta Chapman and have never read anything penned by her that disappointed me. And this third in her Indiana Brides series, “A Perfect Amish Match”, didn’t disappoint me, either. In fact, it made me laugh, cry and be inspired by it’s unique and simple love story between Matchmaker Olivia Mae and the seemingly unlovable Noah.
Friendship, family and faith were all integral parts of this novel. Before Olivia and Noah discovered they were a “perfect match” they became friends first and liked and respected each other. Family was important to both of the main characters, and it warmed my heart to see the love that they shared with their families. Their strong Amish faith was reflected throughout the story line with Bible scripture that related well to the story line. The Bible verses made me stop and consider situations in my life where God’s word helped me cope with rough times and rejoice in good times.
I highly recommend “A Perfect Amish Match” to anyone who loves a good love story and anyone who just enjoys reading a well-written, interesting and warm-hearted feeling book. As I finished reading the tale of Olivia Mae and Noah, I felt cozy and tingly inside, and the story line left me smiling for days after.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author, but was not pressed to give a review; only to enjoy the read. However, it was so good I am compelled to give a glowing review of the narrative, as I truly enjoyed reading “A Perfect Amish Match” and hope that other avid readers relish it as much as I have.

This was a really cute story in which love came from a slow building friendship that took both people by surprise. Reading how the Amish deal with health issues including Alzheimer's was interesting as well.

After having read so many of Vannetta Chapman's previous creations, I have very high expectations of all of her new books! Every one of them has met my qualifications for a great story. I must say that I was not disappointed with this first book in the series entitled "Indiana Amish Brides"! It is another novel that drew me into the lives of some very special new friends. I walked alongside them as they travelled their somewhat rocky journey of life.

The characters were so vividly and realistically described that I indeed fell in love with them. Olivia is such a caring young woman who has sacrificed so much to care for her grandparents, but does so with such love that you feel the strong ties. What a sweet lady! We could all take some lessons from her. Olivia's passion in life, matchmaking, is one that results in many positive relationships for others. BUT..... what about her??? She remains single, doing what she does with great success. Then along comes Noah, a fine hard working, quiet man, content to live a single life. The complications arise as Olivia takes on a new challenge. This tale is not without humor. You have to laugh as Noah attempts to follow the matchmaker's instructions.

The plot moves steadily with just enough surprises to keep the reader engrossed from beginning to end. The subject of Alzheimer's Disease is addressed with sensitivity showing us how it can be dealt with in a positive fashion.

Both laughter and tears make this a delightful, sweet romance.

Vannetta never fails to please her readers!!!! Great read!!

I read my first book by Vannetta Chapmen about the time I started book blogging. It was a holiday Amish romance and from then on , she was one of my favorite authors of this genre. She's written many books since then but A Perfect Amish Match is just as beautiful as the one I read all those years ago.

This book is perfect because of the two characters, Olivia Mae and Noah. There story is full of laughter and tears, well, really, life. They both feel so very real. Olivia is a matchmaker, who has had issues with relationships herself but can make them for others and Noah is just about done with trying to find a woman, which is why he needs Olivia to help him learn how to court, except he finds himself needing Olivia.

I identified with Olivia Mae so very much. In fact, at times it was painful. She was taking care of her grandparents who had health issues, and I was remembering taking care of my grandmother and parents, with trouble with finances and a house that seems to want to crumble and a sibling that thought they might be better elsewhere.

I loved her dedication to her family and to her friends in finding love for them.

Then there is Noah. He's precious in his fumbling in the dating world. His missteps are heartbreaking at times and the will endear him more to each reader.

I love how they evolve from friends to something more, even though life seems to be conspiring against them.

This was a sweet and wonderful love story. Vannetta Chapman is one of the best when it comes to Amish fiction.

As soon as I realized Olivia Mae was caring for her grandparents who are experiencing mental deficiencies due to age my heart was lost. Her unconditional love is something I think we all strive for. We could all learn a thing or two about patience and being kinder from Olivia Mae. Noah is no slouch either.

A Perfect Amish Match is a book I will revisit again and again. I usually gobble up Love Inspired and Vannetta Chapman books in 24 hours of starting them. I purposely made myself take it slower with this book and I’m so glad I did.

A Perfect Amish Match is the perfect book for the teenage girl in your life. Clean romance, clean language throughout. It would also make the perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift for the women in your life.

I received a complimentary copy from the author. Any and all opinions expressed in the above review are entirely my own.

"...he'd returned home because he didn't know where else to go, but he was staying because he realized this was where he wanted to be."

I really enjoyed this gentle story of two "older" Amish singles coming to terms with "Gotte's will" for their lives. In their late twenties, auctioneer Noah and match-maker Olivia Mae each had past hurts that made them give up on the usual Amish goals of marriage and family. Predictably, God and Vannetta Chapman had other plans! I could identify with Olivia's preoccupation with caring for her forgetful grandparents. Dementia, whether Alzheimer's or brought on by temporary stress, can be frightening and totally absorbing. But what really made this story gel was the self-knowledge she (and Noah) gained by examining their past. I think many of us can admit we have allowed our opinion of ourselves to be shaped by someone's random comment. How neat that the letters which helped her see this were in a memory box returned by none other than Noah himself! As always, Chapman's careful, patient weaving of these little details makes her books "keepers."

This story was a satisfying read that left me with a sigh and a smile. No big calamities or anxiety, just two interesting folks finding happiness by walking by faith. For sure and certain, a Perfect Amish Match.

I just finished this quick read that kept my attention and had me page turning, and at times laughing out loud.
I could just picture that picnic that Noah takes his date on, and wait until he presents the horse blanket, he is sure a klutz when it comes to women and doing the wrong thing!
While we get to enjoy Noah’s dating, my heart was breaking for Olivia Mae and her grandparents, and what they are dealing with and wanting the best for them.
Sometimes we can’t see what is right before our eyes, but when I learned of Noah’s past, I was hoping it wouldn’t repeat itself.
A sweet read that made me wish I could linger longer with!

At 29, Noah Graber considers himself a confirmed bachelor. An auctioneer by trade, he has just returned home to Goshen following the crash and burn of his third relationship. When his parents push him toward marriage, he digs in his heels. His three most serious relationships blew up spectacularly, and he has no desire to be humiliated yet again, or to be a disappointment to yet another woman. For the sake of peace, however, he agrees to three dates arranged by the local matchmaker, Olivia Mae Miller. If she can't find a woman to suit him, his family will stop hounding him about finding someone.

Olivia Mae has been matchmaking for the local couples for a number of years. She's gotten pretty good at it, too, so when Noah Graber's mother approaches her about matching her son, she's confident she can find someone appropriate that Noah can fall in love with. Unfortunately, she underestimates just how clueless Noah is when it comes to women. The first two women she sets him up with go so wrong, she can hardly fathom how it could have happened. She agrees to give Noah "dating lessons" to help him avoid the pitfalls he stepped into with his first two dates. What happens, though, when the matchmaker falls for her project? When the only woman Noah is interested in dating is Olivia Mae?

I loved this story. It started a little slow, but it got rolling pretty quickly. Noah's date wrap-ups with Olivia were hilarious. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys the sweet romance genre. Yes, it's Amish fiction, but it's more sweet romance. Only the characters are Amish.

I usually read Love Inspired Suspense. But when I saw that Vannetta Chapman had written a Love Inspired Inspirational Romance I decided to read it. Because I know that whatever Mrs. Chapman writes I'm gonna love!
What a great story! What fun!
Not exactly the "regular" Amish story simply because Olivia Mae Matches men and women together. People that she thinks would make great couples. And she does quite well unless it's with her own love life.
And then there's Noah . . . I loved Noah. He is quite a guy!
This story also deals with taking care of a loved one who has Alzheimer's disease.
Such a real and touching story.
If Vannetta Chapman is a new to you author then this story is a great one to begin reading.
Vannetta Chapman also writes Christian Fiction, Amish Romance, Amish Cozy Mysteries, Romantic Suspense, Christian Dystopian...so the reader has quite a repertoire to pick from.

My Review
4.5 STARS!!!

I don’t read many Love Inspired books but I am so happy I read A Perfect Amish Match. It is a delightful story of two older singles (in the Amish community anyway) who have pretty much decided that marriage must not be in their future.

Chapman’s expert writing drew me deep into the lives of Noah and Olivia Mae. I couldn’t put the book down. There is a lot of living packed into these pages.

Beautiful prose and some seriously romantic moments definitely made my breath hitch a few times. This is one for my keeper shelf.

The perfect combination of funny and poignant. Love a romance that keeps me laughing and sighing straight through to the happily ever after and this one sure did! Noah had a lot to do with that. He's just so....exasperatingly befuddled and incredibly insightful -- sometimes at the same time! My heart started melting at first meet but I knew Noah was the man for me...er Olivia Mae..on page 113. Call me smitten!

Despite multiple professional successes as a matchmaker, Olivia Mae is nigh on clueless when it comes to finding her own perfect match. Love the irony -- and the sweet romance that slowly develops between these two. But there are major hurdles to overcome as Olivia Mae and Noah learn to place their trust in God's plan for their future.

Vannetta Chapman is one of my favourite authors and A Perfect Amish Match is a perfect example of why.

An Amish tale that tugged at my emotions and my heart! I especially loved the light and humorous banter that passed between the two main characters, Olivia Mae Miller and Noah Graber. It's not often that a book has me laughing out loud. There's also sadness and tears in this story. I think that's what makes a book worth five Stars. Chapman knows her readers and what they expect from her writings. A Perfect Amish Match was so worth the time it took to read it.
This book would be great for all fans of Vannetta Chapman, readers of Amish fiction and Christian Fiction. I highly recommend it!

Oh my goodness. What a sweet, fun book. Author Vanetta Chapman gives us a tale of an Amish matchmaker who is single herself. You can imagine where this story is going and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

While this book was fun and a quick read, Chapman does address the topic of Alzheimer’s and failing health in loved ones. Olivia Mae is so kind and caring of her grandparents, even sacrificially so. Along comes poor Noah who doesn’t have a clue about women. I seriously loved these characters.

If you enjoy Amish fiction then grab this one. I highly recommend it!

A Sweet and Fun Romance

Olivia Mae Miller’s stereotypical description of a matchmaker: “Old, maybe. Using a cane. Peering at you over my glasses and shaking my knitting needles at you.”

In reality this description does not even remotely describe Olivia Mae.  Old? Glasses? A cane? Not at all.  Olivia Mae is young, pretty, and never been married.  Yet, she’s known in her community as a very successful “matchmaker.”  And she’s also her grandparents’ caretaker. Although being their caretaker doesn’t affect her matchmaking skills, it constantly keeps challenges coming her way.

Enter Noah Graber.  Noah insists he’s “happily single” and that has no need for a matchmaker.  However, pressure from his family places him dead center in need of Olivia Mae’s matchmaking skills.

What happens next takes these two on a humorous, challenging, faith filled, romantic  adventure that had me continually laughing and smiling (especially at Noah’s jokes) up to the very end.

All in all, I found A Perfect Amish Match to be a thoroughly entertaining sweet, funny inspirational romance.  So, if this sounds like your kind of story, I highly recommend that you check it out.  And if it’s not your kind of story, check it out anyway.  You will be pleasantly surprised.

“A Perfect Amish Match” is book 3 in the “Indiana Amish Brides” series and part of the “Harlequin Love Inspired” April book release. I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but I enjoyed reading this funny, romantic, Amish fiction story.

Olivia Mae is the town’s matchmaker and enjoys getting to know people in hopes of helping them find their “happy ever after”. Noah recently moves into town to be with his brother and is immediately put on Olivia Mae’s list of potential suitors for her girlfriends. One dating disaster after another leads Noah asking Olivia Mae for dating advice.

This story was easy to read and had great, down to earth characters! I couldn’t help but laugh at Noah’s dating disasters and the differences between women and mens dating expectations. I really enjoyed this reading this story and was able to read it in one afternoon.

I received a copy of this book complimentary for blog and social media review. All opinions are my own.

These characters really came to life and were full of depth and individual personality. Noah is stubborn, but Olivia Mae has worked with worse as a matchmaker. I loved how their romance took them both by surprise as their feelings deepened. There was plenty of romantic tension and anticipation while they grew together despite Olivia Mae's reticence as she dealt with being the sole caregiver of her grandparents with declining health. I loved their banter and friendship, as well as the relationship between Olivia and her grandparents. This is a book I plan to re-read in the future!

I love the way the main characters in this heartwarming story grow and learn more about themselves and develop more assurance about their lives and about God’s guidance. It truly touched my spirit. In addition to the seriousness of caring for forgetful, aging grandparents, plenty of humor lightens the heaviness. And a sweet love relationship gradually develops. The setting and characters seem refreshingly realistic and the action natural. It’s an enjoyable novel with a plot that should satisfy readers—it rises above the Amish genre to share an endearing tale. I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.

Great quote at end: "They were the perfect match because they'd taken the time to truly know one another, and when they did, they'd forged an emotional bond that blossomed into love. That was God's doing and , , , He was the perfect matchmaker."

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I'm not a huge Amish fiction fan and while this book had some Amish flavor, the story was one that any lover of sweet romance would love.

I loved Olivia Mae right from the start. She is so good with her grandparents and doesn't have an ounce of "woe is me" in her. It's so fun that she's a "matchmaker"! It was humorous to read about Noah's thoughts on her matchmaking attempts for him.

Noah is a great hero! He wasn't looking for love (much to the dismay of his family) and is content with the job he loves and being a brother and uncle. He was so respectful and warm toward Olivia Mae's grandparents which was very endearing. Noah's sheep jokes are hilarious!

The relationship developed between Olivia Mae and Noah at a good pace and since Olivia Mae had to sell the family farm and move, I wasn't sure what was going to happen which kept me turning the pages until the end.

If you like Amish or contemporary fiction, I HIGHLY recommend this book!
