Call for evidence description

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) wants to gather evidence around commonly littered single-use plastic items to help inform future policy decisions. We are interested in your views on single-use plastic items, especially:

  • wet wipes
  • tobacco filters
  • sachets
  • single-use cups

We are also asking for views on how to shift away from single-use items to reusable or refillable alternatives.

Contribute to our consultation on banning the supply of commonly littered single-use plastic items in England alongside this call for evidence.
