So this year i am running the Edinburgh half marathon reason as i want to be in the best possible health to support Alex with his upcoming spinal surgery this year. This led me to think about fundraising..... this year i have decided not to choose a big charity, i have decided to raise funds for Alexs school, specifically his class. Every day the amazing staff attend to Alex and his friends care needs, they deal with teenagers who have daily seizures, behavioural difficulties and motibility issues. The young people in Alex‘s class all have major difficulties and intervention using expensive technologies such as eye gaze have proved to have huge benefits. Any monies raised will be used to help this class of amazing young people and the fabulous staff. I am extremely grateful for the help, support and ‘time off’ these wonderful people provide.
