Biography
Majed Akhter joined the Department of Geography in 2018. He was previously at Indiana University in the US.

Majed's research and teaching is at the intersection of development geography, and environment/resource studies, and geopolitics. His work develops a historical-geographical materialist approach to questions of technology, territory, and trans-regional relations, especially in an Asian and Pakistani context.
