O-RAN SoC Design Testing with Emulation
IxVerify 5G O-RAN provides O-RU ASIC/ SoC design testing in emulation in compliance with the 3GPP standards. The ability to push both eCPRI traffic as well as time-domain IQ Data from a fully virtual environment into the 5G O-RU emulated ASIC/ SoC allows the designers to easily simulate complex Uplink and Downlink scenarios in pre-silicon phase.
In conjunction with Open RAN Studio Player, IxVerify 5G O-RAN ensures reuse of the test stimulus between pre- and post-silicon testing.

Virtual Infrastructure Test
Virtualization is a core principle of the O-RAN Alliance. Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) is key to implementation of the O-RAN architecture as well as other advanced 5G capabilities, including network slicing and mobile edge computing (MEC). Operators must ensure accurate dimensioning and configuration of the NFV Infrastructure (NFVi) in order to sustain the workloads required by the Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) or Cloud Native Network Functions (CNFs) that run on it.
Keysight’s Cloud Peak is a web application designed to rigorously benchmark the performance of virtualized network infrastructures. By deploying emulated workloads on top of the NFVi system under test, Cloud Peak provides insights into the capability of the NFVi to sustain the required VNF / CNF workloads.
