🤖 Dear Pioneers in Robotics, This is your chance to work in partnership or on an advanced project with us! We are giving robots a sense of touch with our new Tactaxis™ technology. Julien Ghaye, PhD, our newly appointed Product Line Manager, is eager to connect with you. Our technology can sense a 3D force at a specific point on the fingertips, providing force feedback. While many robots can grip objects, we are adding something uniquely human like slip detection. Interested? Come and speak with our team. Let's give cobots a sense of touch and human-like perception together. 🎙️ "As a little girl, I was fascinated by technology and wanted to understand how and why things worked the way they did." ⚡️ The story of our Chairwoman Francoise Chombar started with a spark of interest and turned into a fire of passion. That's why today she's an advocate for #STEM education. Together with weather man Frank Deboosere, FLANDERS TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL, the King Baudouin Foundation, and the TADA Weekendschool in Schaarbeek, they want to warm up children to discover the world of #STEM, our future employees and engineers. 📢 Our building in Ypres saves 24 MWh of natural gas per year. How do we do this? Philip Niville our Facilities Coordinator explains: “We opted for a very efficient chiller refrigerant for cooling ❄ . And as an extra option, we also went for the heat recovery program 🌡 . This means we use warm water from the chile’s heat recovery to heat our entire office building in Ypres.” By doing so, Melexis saves 4.8 ton CO2e yearly. That's the equivalent of 3 trips from Amsterdam to New York and back 🙌

We introduce safety without breaking the bank with our MLX90427 Position Sensing for Steer-by-Wire! With the push for increased autonomous operation and electrification, automotive OEMs are developing state-of-the-art ‘by-wire’ systems that replace complex mechanical systems with smarter and more efficient electronic ones. However, removing the physical connection linking a steering wheel to the wheels necessitates multiple sensors that are extremely reliable, highly precise, and cost-efficient. Our latest addition to the magnetic position sensor portfolio, the MLX90427 is the answer. With strong stray field immunity and EMC robustness, four operating modes, high-speed SPI output, and built-in self-diagnostics, this device is tailor-made for steer-by-wire applications where precision is crucial. Learn about the versatility, reliability, and advanced reliability of the MLX90427 for steer-by-wire as well as wider automotive applications👇 #Melexis #Automotive #PositionSensing #SteerByWire #SensorTech #AutomotiveSafety #Innovation #AutonomousDriving
