The Public Sector Fraud Authority has joined us on LinkedIn! The PSFA is the UK government’s centre of expertise for stopping public sector fraud. In its first year it stopped £311 million of taxpayers' money being lost to fraud.

Our ambition is to have the most advanced trade border in the world. Baroness Neville-Rolfe spent the morning at Heathrow to see how working with industry could make it easier and quicker to trade goods, while making sure our products are still safe.

Parliamentary Secretary Alex Burghart was in Darlington today to announce plans to build a state-of-the-art UK Government Hub in the town centre on Brunswick Street. Meeting with senior civil servants and key stakeholders, the Minister discussed how best to support the continued growth of the Darlington Economic Campus (DEC) and encourage greater cross-government collaboration. Once completed, the new government office space will house over 1,450 civil servants from across multiple key departments, creating greater opportunities for people living outside London to work in the civil service. Minister Burghart was in Belfast last week to discuss increasing further the number of UK civil servants located in Northern Ireland. Since 2020, around 280 roles have been relocated from London to NI - yesterday, the Minister met with departments to see how much further we could go. Talking with senior civil servants and stakeholders from across the business, tech and skills sectors, the Minister explored how to best harness NI's talent into the civil service.

1 Atlantic Square in Glasgow is one of several new Government hubs across the UK and is the Cabinet Office's second HQ. Government Hubs are playing a pivotal role in the Government’s levelling up agenda - helping to relocate 22,000 Civil Service roles out of London by 2030.
