We have been receiving a lot of words of support and offers to help sent by our colleagues from all over the world. Below are the most important things that our country needs today.

The first and foremost need at the moment is to SUPPORT THE UKRAINIAN ARMY. On the individual level, the most efficient way to do that is to raise funds that Armed Forces could redirect to the most urgent tasks and needs. The National Bank of Ukraine has launched a special account specifically for this purpose. It has been established to receive transfers from international partners and donors in foreign currency (U.S. dollars, euros, UK pounds) and hryvnias. To provide this kind of support, you can find all details on the website of The National Bank of Ukraine under the following link.

There is also a widely supported “Save Life” volunteers fund that has been supplying the Ukrainian Army since 2014.

An equally important segment of crucial help now is to reduce the tragic consequences of humanitarian and refugee crises for those trying to escape the war. There are several charities and NGOs, for example RAZOM: Emergency Response.

Ukrainian government has opened an account for the Ministry of Social Policy to accumulate charitable contributions for social needs in wartime.

At the Center, we have organized, with our limited capacity, a shelter for all those in need who reach us. Many of those escaping from the frontline territories after a short stop in Lviv take their exhausting routes further to neighboring countries. You can join already existing initiatives in the country of your residence by providing any kind of help that is needed there when our refugees arrive. People who have had to leave their homes and run from war will need all support anyone can offer, both in the short and the long term. Apart from first aid, you might also assist with such things as dealing with language barriers, bureaucracy procedures, job searches, etc.

We might also receive ad hoc requests from colleagues or friends who are crossing the border. In this case, we will use the same channel of communication to share those requests with you. If you are willing to respond to such requests in your own country, please let us know with contacts and possible assistance details at [email protected].

Last not but not least, please appeal to your representatives at all levels to impose pressure on the Russian government and Russia-backed institutions, projects, activities in your country to stop the war. This activism is crucial. It must be clear to everyone that this war is not about Ukraine anymore. It is about security globally.

WE FEEL YOUR SUPPORT! NOW WE ALL HAVE TO TAKE ACTION!
