Please bear in mind that as the appointments are only 30 minutes the adviser won’t be able to look at a whole essay or assignment

Find out what you can expect in a Study Advice appointment

The service is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 –16:00 and booked one-to-one sessions last approximately 30 minutes.

Please remember:

We cannot give subject-specific advice. For this, it is best to consult your course tutors.
We do not proof-read work, or arrange regular weekly sessions.
If you need advice on studying in English as a second or additional language, you will find more appropriate support from the Academic English Programme.
We are unable to discuss with you the content of your exam or meet with you within the 23 hour exam period
