Music Facilities
Steinway Music School provides a unique and contemporary environment – complete with a brand new state of the art, ultra-modern soundproofed, professional-standard recording studio, a beautiful recital room with a Steinway Model B Grand Piano and an artist’s green room complete with shower and dressing room.
This space is available for hire for larger groups or individuals wishing to use it as a tutoring space.
Recital Room
Our recital room is a bright, well-ventilated room, situated on the ground floor and perfect for holding musical or spoken word events and includes access to the Steinway and Sons Model B Grand Piano, music stands and seating. There is also access to a kitchenette for preparing drinks and refreshments should you wish to hold a reception.

Classroom
Our light, bright classroom is ideal for those wanting a tranquil space to teach a masterclass or practical workshop, or hold a small meeting or conference.
This space is situated on the ground floor of the new music school and is close to toilet facilities and a small kitchen.

Practice Rooms
We have 10 soundproofed practice rooms on the first floor of our Steinway Music School. These can be hired as individual rooms or in group combinations.
Each recital room has an average capacity of 2 people. One of our practice room features a mini Steinway piano, seven feature an Essex piano and two feature keyboards.

Recording Studio 1
This is the largest of our two recording studios, and features a Steinway and Sons Model B Grand Piano. Microphones and equipment can be provided to record individuals and groups of up to 25 people in this space.
Within this room there are also 10 Apple Macs which all have Logic Pro X and Sibelius Ultimate installed.

Recording Studio 2
This is the smaller of our two recording studios but has space for a small group of artists, instruments and a drum kit.

Studio Control Room
Our studio control room is situated in-between Recording Studio 1 and Recording Studio 2.
This space is sound proofed and equipped with an audio console, outboard and monitor system which allows users to produce and record in a professional environment.
