South of Scotland Enterprise Business Survey

Local and regional agencies are working together through a South of Scotland Regional Economic Partnership to develop a Regional Economic Strategy. It will aim to set out a clear, collective and compelling vision, which will focus on long term outcomes and ensure that the South of Scotland delivers its economic potential.

Businesses’ views are vital to the development of this strategy.  We want to gather feedback from businesses operating within the region about the opportunities and challenges.

We know that Covid-19 and Brexit have created significant challenges to businesses operating across the South of Scotland. Recent surveys have already helped us understand the impact and implications of these events and will help shape our response.

The following survey is intended to give local businesses a chance to provide comment on the key issues for the Regional Economic Strategy.

There are 19 questions in total and the survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

All responses are collated and received through an anonymous process and will not be attributed to any individual or business.

This questionnaire is accessible for completion until 23:59 on Friday 19th March. While the survey will close to ensure findings can inform the Regional Economic Strategy, we are always keen to hear from businesses about barriers and opportunities – email us at sosrep@sose.scot.

Further detail on other opportunities to inform the strategy development process are detailed at http://sosrep.dumgal.gov.uk

Should you have any queries relating to this survey or the wider strategy development process please email Liam.Fitzgerald@rsmuk.com.

As the lead organisation in conducting this survey, South of Scotland Enterprise’s privacy notice – which gives you information on how SOSE collects, uses, shares and looks after your personal information, is available at www.southofscotlandenterprise.com. In this particular survey we are asking for respondent’s postcodes to help us understand the spread of responses across our region.

Thank you in advance for your participation.
