You are invited to a public lecture on Cyber Warfare & the State of the Information Age by Dr. David Fahrenkrug. This presentation will address the changes in conflict brought about by the growing use of computers, networks and communication technologies and is applicable to everyone. 

Specifically, Dr. Fahrenkrug will offer a framework for understanding cyber power to explain how the information age is changing the way we will secure the state and protect individuals.

Dr. David Fahrenkrug is an adjunct assistant professor at Georgetown University teaching graduate courses on strategy, net assessment and cyber warfare. He is also a Director of Strategic Planning in Northrop Grumman’s Analysis Center.

Dr. Fahrenkrug’s lecture is the first in a series of four. The lectures are part of the UNB’s 2019-2020 Cyber Lecture Series, which was organized by the North American Society for Intelligence History, The Canadian Institute for Cyber Security, the Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society and UNB’s Faculty of Law. The series was funded by the U.S. Consulate General in Halifax, and the University of New Brunswick.
