United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter refered to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) Myanmar UNON is seeking a skilled Contrcator to implement stand-alone water supply systems (with ground water extraction, water purification units, overhead tanks, ground tanks, pump house and fencing), as well as construction of small segments of access roads (ranging from 300 meters to 1.5 kilometers) with side drains, and school latrines at various schools in peri urban areas of Yangon city in Myanmar. The project areas for stand-alone water supply systems are located at Hlaingtharyar, Shwepyitha, South Dagon, North Okkalapa, Dagon Seikan and Dala townships (Total 22 locations in 6 townships). Similarly, the construction of school latrines and household latrines are targeted in 8 townships (additional townships are Thanlyn and Insein townships) The Contractor shall have highly experienced and qualified personel and appropriate modern and advanced tools and machinery to provide UN-Habitat with high-quality installations in compliance with the highest quality standards, the current international regulations and UN-Habitat's requirements. The Contractor shall have the required financial resources to speedily mobilize the resources necessary to complete the works within a short time frame at the expected level of quality.
