Trainee program
The Trainee Program is for you that have a high school diploma (STX, HHX, HTX etc.), and are ready to experience the job market first hand.
It consist of 2 years of extensive training and practical work experience – all geared to provide a solid foundation for a successful career with VIKING.
The scope of our program is generally quite broad while we also aim to enroll trainees in targeted fields of discipline including: Finance, Marketing and Communications, Engineering, IT, Human Resources, Service, Design, Product Management and more.
Primarily, you will be based in one business unit of the company from where you’ll be rotating between different departments. During rotations you will also be introduced to the key business units of the company - giving you a wide knowledge scope of the VIKING organization.
Additionally, many of our trainees have a monthly spell of working abroad with one of our numerous subsidiaries in places like Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai and many more.
Student assistant program
This program is for you that are currently enrolled on a higher education, ideally with ~18 months or more left before graduation.
As a student assistant with VIKING you will find yourself off to a great start to your career in an international corporation. Our guiding philosophy is that you are in the driving seat of your own future potential.
We are always looking for cutting-edge talents in alle business areas such as: Finance, Marketing and Communications, Engineering, Information Technology, Human Resources, Service, Design, Product Management and more.
During you time as a student assistant we often see a mix of both internship periods, thesis, projects and even work abroad, so you get plenty of opportunity to explore both VIKING and develop your skills along the way!

Graduate program
This program is for you that have completed a higher education, and are looking to start your career in an international corporation.

As a graduate we expect you to come with the theoretical know-how, and then we will provide you the opportunity to use it in practice while getting solid experience solving real problems within your business area.

VIKING offers internships for candidates studying at either a Bachelors or Masters degree level. As an intern, you'll get the opportunity to obtain important knowledge and practical professional skills, working for a global company, while writing your academic thesis.
