What is the Junior Model Builder Competition?

We are on a mission to find the Sunshine Coast’s most enthusiastic and creative brick builders!
Six lucky finalists will be rewarded with an awesome experience at the 'Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® City’ exhibition at The Wharf in Mooloolaba!
As a part of the visit, the finalists will go head to head in a final competition to take home the ultimate prize pack including a Merlin Annual Pass, a LEGO® prize pack and a Meet & Greet with none other than Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught! The winner will also be crowned the first ever Junior Model Builder of the Sunshine Coast!
How to enter?
To be in the running, children aged 5-10 years old must seek the help of a parent or guardian to submit a recreation of the child’s favourite aquatic animal or underwater scenery.
This recreation can be submitted via a photo, or if you want to show more of your child’s personality, videos will also be accepted. Follow our Facebook Page and then post your submission through commenting on this competition post. Don’t forget to tell us about their LEGO® creation, their name and age!

What is the prize?
The judges will select six finalists who will be chosen to spend half a day at The Wharf Mooloolaba on the 27.05.2022, enjoying access to the Brickman Cities powered by LEGO® City exhibition, before participating in two rounds of LEGO build-off challenges, hosted by LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne’s Master Model Builder.
The winner selected from the final Live Model Builder Competition held at The Wharf Mooloolaba will receive the ultimate LEGO® prize pack valued at up to $1,000 including:
- A Merlin Annual Pass for the whole family (for up to 2 adults and 2 children).
- A LEGO® prize pack from the retail shop valued at $300.
- A Penguin Encounter at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast for 2 people.
- A Meet & Greet with Ryan 'The Brickman' McNaught on Monday the 20.06.22!
