Parent/Carer Panels

An opportunity for local people to become part of an exciting, new family led development in Wolverhampton.

Wolverhampton has been selected to further improve services for families to access early help services in family hubs across the City. We are looking for local people to be part of a local Parent/Carer group, who will meet monthly to discuss, explore and help shape services for families. Initially this will focus on support for parents/carers and their children (pre-birth to 3 years old).

You can help to:

  • Build relationships within the community.
  • Be part of a forum for local people to design and deliver the kind of neighbourhood services they want.
  • Support parents to bring and share information about their neighbourhood and tell others about what services you would like to develop for local people.
  • Celebrate the community you live in and celebrate the achievements.

We appreciate your time and commitment and in return you will be encouraged to upskill and improve your employment opportunities. We will support you with some training, and support you to apply for potential job opportunities that may become available. This is voluntary role and expenses will be paid for     e.g. travel, refreshments etc

We would love to hear from you if you would like to take part in helping shape services for local families in the City. For more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Reeta on reeta.shemar@wolverhampton.gov.uk or call 07646 981 888
